15 Years

It already has been 15 years since I registered this domain and first published this website. Through the years the website has undergone many changes. On the 5th and 10th anniversaries I wrote short articles explaining what had changed in the previous five years. So now it's time again for another update:

I switched my provider yet another time. The website and domain are now hosted by Manitu. They are great and the transfer was easy. I was always satisfied by my previous provider Variomedia though and I can still recommend them. For other things, which are not really related to this website, I just wanted more control over my hosting than their available products offered me.
The tools I used really haven't changed. I still edit this website with Nova, continue to use Sketch to design graphics like the header images and ImageOptim to optimise image file sizes.
I decided to switch from using the sans-serif font Helvetica to using the serif font Georgia, because it offers better readability and just fits better in my opinion.
I still use my own CMS, which only needed a few small improvements the last years.
